With just 10 sites available for the U.S., Foxboro is one of 17 possible U.S. host cities - from an initial list of 23 possible host cities, as well as Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville New York, New Jersey, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and Washington, DC. Seven cities will miss this big opportunity.
The 2026 FIFA Soccer World Cup will be the largest event to date. It will feature 80 matches and it is going to be the first instance when three countries will be hosting it together.
