Boston police arrested two men who allegedly carjacked a man sleeping in his SUV Sunday morning. According to police both the men are Dorchester and were arrested with victim’s car keys. As per the victim’s statement the two men, Cody Brown (25), and Raquawn Givens (20) assaulted him by forcefully dragging him out of his car.
The police were initially following the victim who went out on his friend’s scooter to look for the pair. At around 1 a.m. he was seen without a helmet and headlight in the area of Humboldt Avenue and Waumbeck Streets but the police soon lost sight of him. They then reached William Monroe Trotter Park where they saw Brown and Givens. While Brown was spotted with a large black Bowie knife, Givens carried a plastic bag with more than 20 Xanax pills.

Soon the victim reached the police and described the whole incident. The keys of his SUV were found in Brown’s pants pocket.
The two men are charged with armed carjacking and trespassing, according to the police. While Givens was also charged for possession of drugs with intent to distribute, Brown was charged for carrying a dangerous weapon unlawfully.
